FAQs

What can I expect in counselling?

You’ll have a safe, supportive space to slow down, share what’s on your mind, and explore what’s underneath the overwhelm. Counselling is collaborative  we go at a pace that suits you, focusing on practical tools, emotional support, and reconnection with what matters most.

Can I choose Christian counselling?

Yes! I honour your story and faith as part of your journey. Sessions can integrate your values, beliefs, and spiritual reflections if that’s important to you.

Do I need to be in crisis to come?

Not at all. Counselling isn’t only for moments of crisis. Even the quiet ache of exhaustion, feeling “stuck,” or wanting support is reason enough to start.

How long is a session?

Standard sessions are 50–60 minutes. You can also book a free 30-minute intake call before committing to regular sessions.

Do I have to share everything at once?

No. You go at your own pace. Counselling is about creating space to explore what you’re ready to share, without pressure or judgement.

Is online counselling different from in-person?

The support is the same. Online sessions are convenient, private, and accessible wherever you are, while still allowing for connection and trust.

How often should I come?

Frequency is flexible. Some women start weekly, others fortnightly. We’ll tailor a plan to suit your needs, pace, and goals.
